About GrabAm

GrabAm is a peer-to-peer marketplace built for Ghana, starting with university students and open to everyone. List something in minutes, bargain with buyers directly in chat, and get paid straight to your mobile money. No more scattered WhatsApp groups and no-shows.

We built GrabAm because buying and selling between Ghanaians especially students moving in and out of hostels every semester were stuck on unreliable group chats with no way to verify a buyer, hold a seller accountable, or know your money was safe until the item actually changed hands.

What makes GrabAm different

• Escrow by default. Payment is held via Moolre (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AT Money) until the buyer confirms delivery.
• Built-in negotiation. Offer, counter-offer, and agree on a price without leaving the app.
• Local, not generic. Region and campus-aware listings, built around how Ghanaians actually buy and sell.
